REMEMBER THIS? HARPER HOMERS, THEN BLOWS KISS

CHICAGO -- Bryce Harper was ejected from Wednesday night's game at Class AA Harrisburg after arguing a called third strike, the latest display of emotion from the Nationals' top farmhand.
Harper, 18, took an outside 3-2 fastball in the bottom of the seventh inning from Richmond pitcher Eric Surkamp, then began to trot to first base believing he had drawn a walk. Plate umpire Max Guyll, though, called the pitch a strike.
Harper turned back toward the plate and slammed his helmet to the ground in frustration, at which point Guyll (who, according to the Patriot-News, had drawn the ire of players on both sides for his generous strike zone) ejected him. Harper then argued in Guyll's face before Harrisburg manager Tony Beasley emerged from the dugout to protect his player.
Beasley was subsequently ejected himself.
This was the second time Harper has been ejected from a game during his first season of professional baseball. He was tossed earlier this year while playing for low-Class A Hagerstown.
Harper also drew headlines in June when he blew a kiss toward an opposing pitcher during a home-run trot.
Nationals officials have not been overly concerned with the No. 1 draft pick's behavior on the field, citing only his need to learn the ins and outs of professional baseball while in the minor leagues.
This incident shouldn't draw much of any reaction from the organization, either, considering the context of the game, the complaints of players on both teams about the strike zone and the fact Harper's outburst wasn't particularly unusual for a player in that situation.
