Job Description

The Cloud Business Solutions Manager is accountable for overall Cloud revenue growth for Savvis.? Primary goal is to achieve/exceed Savvis? Cloud sales targets.? ?Responsibilities include assisting sales with the overall Cloud solution sales strategy in a given opportunity and driving Cloud and converged cloud solution awareness in a given Region/Vertical. ?This person is responsible for leading the Cloud and Converged Cloud growth initiatives that support the overall growth objectives of Savvis within the US. This position works closely with senior leaders in Savvis to identify and prioritize important Strategic Sales initiatives consistent with Savvis strategy.
?Position Objectives:?
* Drive Cloud awareness across specific U.S. Sales Teams relative to Savvis? Cloud solutions sets.
* Drive Cloud Sales activities in specific assigned Field and/or Verticals Sales Teams, ensuring the company?s 2011 bookings and revenue goals are exceeded.?
* Develop and launch Cloud programs within specific assigned Field and/or Verticals Sales Teams, in collaboration with other internal organizations.
* Actively assist sales in positioning Savvis? Cloud Service offering with clients and prospects.
* Assist where needed in high level design and commercial business issues.
* Co-ordinate and utilize internal resources to effectively support and maximize sales opportunities.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive Cloud Sales project plans.
* Responsible for achieving quota designated by management.
?Essential duties:???
* Serve as in-region single point of contact for the sales and sales support organizations related to Cloud solution selling initiatives and go to market strategies.
* Establish cohesive relationships with area Regional Sales Management and Sales reps.
* Have a high level of energy as well as strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
* Demonstrate the ability to gain trust, negotiate business objectives, and work directly with a broad group of senior executives.
* Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit and interest in creating new business models and uncovering untapped market potential.
* Provide thought partnership and analytical understanding to important business decisions involving cloud solution set.
* Champion cloud solutions set throughout the company and work with relevant internal resources (field marketing, product marketing, product management, etc.)? to drive revenue growth.
* Understand and stay current with the competitive and industry landscape
* Demonstrate a strong understanding of business drivers and needs relating to SAVVIS? cloud product offering.
* Demonstrate the ability to manage and quickly gain respect among subject matter experts within the company.
* Possess complex project management skills and the ability to effectively manage in-region Cloud sales by being a charismatic motivator and thought leader.
* Be bottom-line oriented, budget-conscious, and metric/measurement driven.
* Responsible for meeting the specified monthly, quarterly and yearly targets.
* Responsible for updating management on progress and elevate any issues that need assistance with resolution.
?Required skills:??
* BS/BA or equivalent required; MS/MBA a plus. ??
* 10+ years of related industry experience in a solutions-selling environment.
* 10+ years of Direct Sales, Business Development and/or Overlay related experience with complex cloud or related IT managed services solutions.
* Up to 50% of travel.
* Previous demonstrated success selling to C- Level executives.
* Proven track record of consistently achieving and out performing sales targets.
* Excellent communication skills to include:


verbal, written and presentation.
* Entrepreneurial drive.
* Energy, integrity, and strong work ethic.
* Exceptional organizational skills for the coordination of deal activities and flawless execution of business plans.
