Because there are limited foods that body builders eat knowing as many ways as possible to prepare these two items will keep you from getting bored easily.
Another reason chicken and fish are such good muscle building foods is they are considered lean foods as well. The chicken breast which is the main section of the chicken that body builders eat is very lean containing hardly any fat. Fatty foods are off limits for body builders because fat does not contribute to muscle growth. It only contributes to fat.
